Market day in Dunstable during the time when the stalls had been moved from alongside High Street North to the car park in front of the Civic Hall in Queensway. The hall (later renamed the Queensway Hall) was opened in April 1964. The market moved, when the hall closed, to what was hoped would be a more convenient site in the centre of town around Ashton Square and Wilkinson's.
